PEIMAN (Posttranslational modification Enrichment, Integration and Matching ANalysis) is a standalone software and platform free for enrichment analysis in post translational modification (PTM) types. The software also provides the comparison between two different lists of proteins, focusing on PTM types. Investigating the PTM frequency in each list is also available. 

The software is released for both Microsoft Windows and Mac operating system. Windows Users should have R statistical software (http://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/base) and Microsoft Office Access (any version) installed on their target machine. In order to download the software for Windows OS please click here.

You can also download a package (RAR file) of data and a written script in R to run PEIMAN on Mac. If you want to download the package for Mac operating system please click here.

In both cases, the download will start automatically after clicking the appropriate hyperlink and a RAR file is saved on your local disk. The downloaded RAR file is password protected. Send an email to peimanptm@gmail.com and an automatic email will be sent containing password and further instructions.  

If you do not receive an email, please check your Spam folder. It might have been flagged as spam because it is an automatically generated email.

Windows users: extract the RAR file on your local disk. Open the folder and run “PEIMAN 1.0 Setup.msi” file to install the software. We recommend you to read “ReadMe.txt” file before installation.

Mac users: open the written script in R (PEIMAN.R). The instructions are included inside the script.
